Sarah was raised in Burlington, Ontario.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2005 from McMaster University, where she was awarded the Dr. Harry Lyman Hooker Scholarship for overall academic excellence.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Law School in 2008 and after articling with Camporese Sullivan Di Gregorio, was called to the bar in 2009.

Sarah’s practice focuses on family law, personal injury, insurance defence law and criminal law.  She has appeared before the Small Claims Court, Ontario Court of Justice and Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Sarah is a member of the following professional associations:

Sarah has always been an active member of the community.  During law school, she served as a caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid and completed a Pro Bono Students Canada placement with the Big Brothers Association of Kingston.  She was the president of the Queen’s Criminal Law Association, the Queen’s Law representative of the Ontario Bar Association Student Division, and a member of the Queen’s Law Faculty Board Admissions Committee.  She is a former coordinator of the McMaster University Peer Helper Program.  She was a member of the Burlington Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee.  Sarah has a first-degree black belt and currently volunteers at Paterson’s Karate Works in Burlington.
