Chris is a native of Markham, Ontario. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Specialized Honours in Political Science) from York University in 2001 and his Master of Arts in Political Science in 2002. He graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 2005 where he participated in the Zuber Moot Competition and volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic.  After articling with Joseph Sullivan, Chris was called to the bar in 2006.

Chris’s practice is focused on insurance defence litigation including both bodily injury and accident benefit claims. He has appeared before the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Chris is a member of the following professional associations:

  • Law Society of Upper Canada
  • Hamilton Law Association
  • Canadian Defence Lawyers Association

Chris has always been an active member of his community. He is the former president of the Markham District Baseball Association and he won the 2001 Baseball Ontario Coach of the Year Award. He managed the 2002 Baseball Ontario Team of the Year and he is a former baseball umpire. He has volunteered his time as a mentor and as a judge for various moot competitions.
